Although 2018 was a good year for me, I am definitely looking forward to 2019. Of course the biggest things I am looking forward to is the birth of my baby girl. She will be here in less than 2 weeks! Still in shock that I am going to be someone’s mom. Never saw that coming. Some other things I am looking forward to is becoming a better and faster runner, finally starting my business, and paying off most, if not all of my credit cards this year. Every year I like to make a bucket list. This year is no different. Some things on my bucket list are small things like learn to make cheesecake from scratch, while others will take more time and dedication in completing them, like running a half marathon (13.1 miles) in under 2 hours. Here is my bucket list for 2019.
Have a healthy baby girl
Take part in Meatless March
Write two blog posts a week
Read 50 books
Take Ayanna to Disneyland for her 5th birthday
LA County or OC Fair with my family

Run a half marathon (13.1 miles) in under 2 hours
Run a 5k race (3.1 miles) in under 25 minutes

Will be adding more to the bucket list as the year goes on!
I accomplished everything I wanted to in 2017, this year I have set more goals and things I’d like to achieve. Here are just a few things in my bucket list for 2018.
1. Run 500+ miles
2. Publish my first novel
3. Run a 5k in under 25 minutes
4. Run a 10k in under 55 minutes
5. Run a half marathon in under two hours
6. Run a marathon in under 4.5 hours
7. Read 100 books
8. Pay off my credit cards
9. Weigh at least 125 by the end of the year
10. Travel out of state at least twice
A new month a new list of things to do this month! The biggest thing I’m doing this month is the 30 Day Vegan Challenge. I have given up meat and poultry for a month before, during Meatless March, but I’ve never given up dairy products or other animal products. This will be hard for me. Here’s a list of my goals and bucket list for this month!
1. Run 100 miles
I’m training for my first marathon next month so this is definitely possible. In August, I ran about 90 miles. This will be my last full month of training so I hope I can stick to the training plan as much as possible.
2. 30 Vegan Challenge
No meat, no poultry, no dairy products, no eggs, no seafood, etc. I’ve on!y been vegan for about four days and it’s been really hard for me. I’ve had headaches and have low energy. This is bad for me as a runner. I know I will need to improve the way I eat if I want to last the finish the 30 Day Vegan Challenge.
3. Continue learning German
I know some basic German, but I want to be able to read the German version of the Harry Potter books. One day I would love to visit Germany, it’s one of the top countries on my travel bucket list.
4. Learn to play guitar
My boyfriend said he will teach me to play guitar. I would love to be able to write some songs for him to sing while I accompany him on guitar.
5. Go on a spending fast
Anyone who knows me knows I have the bad habit of buying things I don’t need. This month I want to stop that. My plan is to not buy anything like books, running shoes, makeup, non essential things.
I like setting goals and making plans each month! They can be small things like run three times a week or plans to go somewhere I have never been to before. For the month of July here are some things I’ve got planned out 🙂
1. Travelling to Northern California with my family
2. Tim McGraw concert
3. San Francisco half marathon
4. Get a haircut
5. Dye my hair (maybe)
6. Start swimming more often
7. Celebrate my bf’s bday
8. Knotts Soak City with my family
9. Beach with bf or sister
10. Finally try Eggslut in Downtown L.A.
11. Real Madrid vs Manchester City game with my bf in LA
